About SHOP FRESH FOOD MARKETPLACE
Located at 2285 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10453, SHOP FRESH FOOD MARKETPLACE operates as a chinese supermarket serving Bronx in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Bronx with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in New York may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach SHOP FRESH FOOD MARKETPLACE at (917) 801-1555; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, circularss.com.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 85 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese supermarkets in Bronx.
Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bronx is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for almost 2 years i’ve seen cashiers change a lot here . my first inconvenience was buying my baby formula and their Apple Pay system wasn’t working which happens. I understand the issue is when the cashiers insist in saying things like you’re sure you have it or when your card is locked and you need just a few seconds to unlock it, but because there’s no service in the supermarket, you must step out for a minute and come back in with your card unlocked meanwhile, you’ve done that they’ve done made up all these stories how you’re going to steal the food . Omg it’s a lot of items to put back . although my husband is waiting for me with the groceries still they are rude . Talk bad about customers . i really tried to look past these experiences TODAY WAS MY LAST TIME SHOPPING HERE . I SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE WHOLE COMPRA PA QUE TE QUEJARÁS DEVERDAD PAOLA ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Se pago lo que tú y la que estaban hablando que uno no iba a pagar. Tan dramática . 🤦🏽♀️🙄

They only care about people making huge purchases. As if 10 items today doesn’t cost over $100. No express lines and the cashiers have attitudes for being over worked, but they take it out on customers. The place can be packed with each register having a line going into the aisle. And not even a simple thing of a manager jumping on the lotto area to work the express line. You just have to wait. Today was my last purchase there. This place forgets how many more supermarkets at better price and better service is in the area. They prices are not even good.

It’s a great place the cashiers are also good but the only reason I’m giving it a four stars it’s because the meat workers they are not efficient and they joke around too much and tease the customers. The meat butchers are always doing their job wrong. Especially one butcher he likes to to ignore customers and purposely says things to annoy you. They need more professionalism and need to stop bullying their customers
